Soils - Determination of the Coefficient of Permeability at the End of a Drill Casing
CAN/BNQ 2501-130 is a national standard that specifies the test method for determining the coefficient of permeability of soil at the end of a drill casing driven in by ramming, a test method that is particularly suitable for soils with a coefficient of permeability greater than 10-6 m/s. Specifically, it deals with five main elements:
- apparatus and installation method;
- choosing a test method; procedure (constant head test and falling head test);
- calculating and expressing the results (constant head test and falling head test);
- test report.
