Standard BNQ 2520-110
Granite Edging and Curbs
The BNQ 2520-110 standard describes the physical characteristics and dimensional requirements for granite edging, curbs and noses of islands used in the construction of public roads, sidewalks, parking lots, landscaped areas, plazas and stairways. The standard includes numerous requirements divided into two categories.
General requirements:
- The granite must not contain cracks, holes or any other flaws that may reduce its durability or resistance, or detract from its appearance.
- Edges of granite edging and curbs that remain visible once installed must be straight and free of chips.
Specific requirements:
- Physical characteristics
