Standard Specification for Smoothwall Polyethylene (PE) Pipe for Use in Drainage and Waste Disposal Absorption Fields

To ensure pipe uniformity and quality, many factors must be taken into account. ASTM F810 covers smoothwall perforated and nonperforated polyethylene (PE) pipe for use in drainage and waste disposal absorption fields. It covers requirements and test methods for workmanship, flattening, dimensions, tolerances, stiffness, perforations, environmental stress cracking, bonding, impact resistance and marking of 75 mm, 100 mm and 150 mm diameter (3“, 4” and 6") smooth-walled PE pipe for Use in Drainage and Waste Disposal Absorption Fields.

 

Certification Offer 

ASTM F810 is a U.S. standard recognized across North America. The BNQ program enables manufacturers to demonstrate the quality of their products to clients. This means they don't have to carry out on-site inspections, since they know that third-party certification guarantees the neutrality of the process. To have their pipes certified, manufacturers must show their compliance with the certification program requirements. Manufacturers wishing to have their pipes recognized as conforming to ASTM F810 must submit an application for certification to BNQ, and be able to demonstrate that they meet the requirements of the BNQ certification program. 

This certification program is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada.
